There are allot of training facilities, some are great and others are not so great while there are also some REALLY BAD ONES! YOU need to protect you puppy from bad trainers.... if you don't feel good about something, don't do it!!!
These dogs are super intelligent as well as sensitive. YOU need to learn to communicate with your dog so they understand you are in charge and you will give the directions. Focus and attention to you is the most important part of your pup's training. If you have your dogs attention, you are 99% there. This is NOT done with dominance training, it is done with positive direction and reinforcement. It's not hard.... unless you are a hard head who likes to yell and punish, in which case you might do better with a different breed. Although Shiloh temperaments do vary, a 'hard' Shiloh would compare to a 'soft' German Shepherd so they aren't for everyone.
